Jones, alumnus of the Jersey Gators swim team, returns to practice with Coach Lou Petrozziello and current Gators. A member of the exciting, world record breaking men’s 4×100 freestyle relay in the 2008 summer games in Beijing, China, Cullen Jones is also known for his outstanding efforts with USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash Program, dedicated to helping minorities learn how to swim and possibly saving many young lives. The Jersey Gators, based in Centennial Avenue Pool, Cranford, is a competitive swim program for ages 6-18. Gators can be found among New Jersey’s Top 50 swimmers for men and women across various age groups and events. Some graduates continue on to compete at the collegiate level for top Division I swim programs. Many of the alum also return to practice with Coach Lou.
