Pre-Meet Information for Agathe Marten Memorial 2024

There’s a LOT of information here. Please read everything carefully, especially the notes regarding parking (different for each day) from the host team. We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to let someone know if you are running late. Your swimmer will get scratched from the meet if they aren’t there for check-in and the coaches may not be able to get them back into the meet at all. Please private message Alexandra Paulyson on Stack if you need to reach someone.

**IMPORTANT Please review the Invitational Entries list and the meet information on our website to view what events and session(s) your swimmer is attending. You MUST be logged in, then go to “Members Area”; “Entries and Results”; “Invitational Entries/Results”; Scroll down on the left side under “Invitational Entries” and find the Agathe Marten meet. Scroll through to find your swimmer to see what events they are swimming. 

Scratches: If your swimmer needs to scratch, please do so 30 minutes before swimmer check-in times. If swimmers are not checked-in with coaches by the times listed per session, they will be scratched from the meet. Running Late: If you are running a little late, please notify someone so your swimmer does not get scratched. The deadlines to check in with the coaches are firm. 

We are assigned timing for this meet. If you see your swimmer’s last name, you must attend the timers meeting and time the duration of the meet. Upon arrival, please ask someone from the host team when and where the timers meeting is. BACK-UP TIMERS ARE ONLY IN CASE THE LISTED TIMER SCRATCHES.

Parking 
Session 1,2,3 (Saturday January 27, 2024):  NO parking at the Clifton Boys and Girls Club parking lot.  Parking available at Clifton Elks Lodge which is diagonally across the street from the Boys and Girls Club, located at 775 Clifton Ave Clifton, NJ 07013-1836.  Additional parking available on surrounding streets, and at the Clifton Adult Opportunity Center located at 900 Clifton avenue between Colfax and Van Houten avenues on the Clifton Municipal Complex grounds. 

Sessions 4, 5 and 6 (Sunday January 28, 2024):  Parking available at the Clifton Boys and Girls Club lot.  NO parking at the Clifton Elks Lodge.  Additional parking available at surrounding streets, and at the Clifton Adult Opportunity Center located at 900 Clifton avenue between Colfax and Van Houten avenues on the Clifton Municipal Complex grounds. 

Please encourage swimmers, parents and coaches to carpool throughout the meet, as parking is limited.
