Pre-Meet Information for the 2023 Piranha Fall Rally

Session 2 - Saturday morning

Scratches: If your swimmer needs to scratch, please do so before 7:30 AM on Saturday or Sunday. If swimmers are not checked-in with coaches by the times listed per session, they will be scratched from the meet. 

Running Late: If you are running a little late, please notify someone so your swimmer does not get scratched. The deadlines to check in with the coach are firm. 

The pool does not have a large spectator area so please refrain from bringing extended family or extra bags/items which prevent others from being able to sit. This is a “gym meet”, meaning the swimmers will be waiting for their turn to swim in a gym which is located directly next to the pool. Please make sure your child knows what they are swimming (see the invitational entries on our website) and pays attention to what event number they are on so they are ready to line up. Parents are allowed to stay with their swimmer(s) in the gym but swimmers are NOT allowed in the pool area as spectators. Please remind your swimmers to be on their best behavior and to stay in the gym so they don’t miss their events. Bring an extra towel or blanket for them to sit on and activities for them to do between events.  

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE HOST TEAM: 

1. Parking is available in the lots and the street surrounding the school where there is a street curb. Please note Linden Ave. should NOT be used for swim meet parking even if there are available spots on this street. Please make sure it is a LEGAL parking space or you will be ticketed and/or towed. Please make sure you are not blocking any crosswalks or driveways with your car. Thank you for your cooperation and your courtesy to those that live here.
2. Parents, Coaches, and Officials are NOT permitted in the athlete locker rooms, located upstairs, at any time. Restrooms located by the pool on the first floor are for non-athletes, including Coaches & Officials ONLY! Please make sure that you are only using the facility marked for you.
3. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, locker rooms, or behind the blocks.
4. There will be a timers meeting in the side hallway 20 Minutes before the start of each session, please have your timers plan to attend
