VERY Important Notice About Upcoming Home Meets

We have some exciting news to share! Construction has started at the Centennial Avenue pool facility and before we know it, we’ll be able to enjoy our newly renovated home. In the meantime, in order to keep capacity at a minimum and the fact that we don’t know when bathrooms will be closed due to renovations, the team is unable to host outside teams for dual meets. The next 2 home dual meets scheduled for November 4th and 11th need to be canceled.

But don’t fret! In lieu of these meets, we WILL be holding a Time Trial meet on the 4th. For those who are new to the team, a time trial is a modified meet with only Jersey Gator swimmers in attendance. It allows swimmers to earn times so they can attend invitational meets throughout the season. We know that this is important for all new swimmers and we are making it a top priority. We strongly encourage all who can to participate. 

Chris will notify everyone once registration is open for the time trial. There will be a deadline, so if you intend to participate, please register on time. The Parent Association will send out a Sign-Up Genius for volunteers to work the meet. We’ll need experienced parents as well as new parents to learn the different positions. 

Construction is very fluid and we will do our best to keep you updated on any restrictions or changes at the facility when they are communicated to us. Practices will continue to be held following regular schedules unless otherwise noted.
